In fact, I&#8217;m not sure I&#8217;ve ever read a book that long; I read all three <em>Lord of the Rings<\/em> books in a single tome, but I don&#8217;t think that counts. <em>Moby Dick<\/em> has suitably leviathan-like dimensions, but I don&#8217;t think it&#8217;s quite 1000+ pages (and anyway, I skimmed through the middle bit where Melville is just describing different whale species).
